A true innovator, Dr Coelho pioneered the introduction of dance as a learning tool in Brazilian schools in 1992, viewing it as a powerful medium for self-awareness, bodily expression, emotional connection, socialisation, and communication.
Her achievements include receiving a prestigious state award in 2016 for developing an inclusive psychopedagogical project aimed at integrating and empowering children with disabilities and various disorders.
